It’s a fact: every Kiwi loves chip & dip. And sure, your classic kiwi dip is great, but have you tried adding caramelised onion and bacon?!
To make a classic kiwi dip, you will need:
- One can of Reduced Cream
 - 1 packet Onion Soup
 - 1 tsp Fresh Lemon Juice Or Vinegar
 
To make:
- Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix until well combined
 - Cover and place in the fridge for 30 minutes to set
 - Enjoy with vege sticks or your fave chips!
 
Now for some options!
Caramelised Onion
- Finely slice 2 brown onions in 1 tablespoon of butter, with 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
 - Reduce down until thick, then allow to cool
 - Make the classic kiwi dip above but serve topped with the cooled caramelised onion
 
Mmmm bacon...
- Fry 2 or 3 pieces of streaky bacon until crispy
 - Drain on a paper towel
 - When cooled crumble into pieces
 - Combine with your dip base before placing into the fridge to set
 
Sour cream & chives
- Replace reduced cream with a 250g tub of sour cream
 - Chop one bunch (approx 2/3 cup) of fresh chives
 - Combine with your dip base before placing into the fridge to set
 
Spinach, bacon & cream cheese
- Fry 2 or 3 pieces of streaky bacon until crispy
 - Drain on a paper towel & crumble into pieces when cool
 - Fold bacon into a 50/50 mix of cream cheese and reduced cream
 - Fry two handfuls of fresh spinach leaves and chop to fine pieces
 - Combine with your dip base before placing into the fridge to set
